Temperatures are a little cooler in the mountains than what they are in Greenville and by the time late September rolls around, I’m ready for a break in the heat. I was welcomed to a cool, breezy day in Cashiers, North Carolina and it. was. incredible.
Everything about Frances and David’s day was elegant, romantic and beautifully custom. From their cake topper to their bar sign to their private vows – it was all intentional and detailed perfection. The intimate, traditional church ceremony (The Church of the Good Shepherd, Sapphire, NC) was ended with a celebratory ring from the bells by F + D. And the reception couldn’t have been held at a better spot – The Country Club of Sapphire Valley. The band, the florals, Frances’ dress – it was all absolutely incredible. And now I can say I’ve been chauffeured around in a Rolls Royce, which will probably never happen again.
Two things can be true – you can have a highly detailed wedding day and also have a stress-free, laid-back day. I’d do this one ten times over again.
