& everything in-between

wedding photographer based

documenting your human experience

let's make
some magic

There's something so unique
about cutting through the surface.
It's special, deeper, more intentional.
& I'm not just another vendor.
This experience shouldn't start when I grab
my camera on your wedding day.
I am your home team and your confidant.
I vow to cherish your love, your moments,
and all your beautiful in-betweenness.

Because we're all about full transparency - I have tried the whole 'just show up and take photos' thing. And you know what?

the one behind the camera

it burnt me out.

What was I missing? The emotional connection. Mutual understanding. I missed the relationship.
I made good work, GREAT work. But it wasn't until recently I've learned about the weight of the work.

since then, my whole
process has elevated.

You can have any photographer show up and take photos, but with me it's different - it's real and connection and human and soft and not enough personal space and bonding over our love for our dogs and simultaneously crying during the mother + son dance.

I'm here to document these once-in-a-lifetime moments that beautifully turn into sweet heirlooms.

And as a bonus, your grandkids will see what babes their grandparents were.

Elizabeth + Jessie

From the minute she walked into my house when we were getting ready, she just made our day better. She is truly meant to do this work. She was a calming force the whole day. We had a bridal party of 18 people, and she knew everyone's names, and our family's names. She is professional, fun, funny, trustworthy. She even helped my sister bustle my dress! She really is like a total wing-woman for your wedding. She was flexible with last minute changes, and she was just so kind the whole day. Our photographs capture our day perfectly and it is so fun to relive the day whenever we look at them. She delivered the photos in less than a month and they're just so beautiful.

I don't even know how to properly explain how much we appreciate Carissa.

'The power of a glance has been so much abused in love stories, that it has come to be disbelieved in. Few people dare now to say that two beings have fallen in love because they have looked at each other. Yet it is in this way that love begins, and in this way only.'
Victor Hugo, Les Misérables
