Temperatures are a little cooler in the mountains than what they are in Greenville and by the time late September rolls around, I’m ready for a break in the heat. I was welcomed to a cool, breezy day in Cashiers, North Carolina and it. was. incredible.
Everything about F and D’s day was elegant, romantic and beautifully custom. From their cake topper to their bar sign to their private vows – it was all intentional and detailed perfection. The intimate, traditional church ceremony (The Church of the Good Shepherd, Sapphire, NC) was ended with a celebratory ring from the bells by F + D. And the reception couldn’t have been held at a better spot – The Country Club of Sapphire Valley. The band, the florals, the dress – it was all absolutely incredible. And now I can say I’ve been chauffeured around in a Rolls Royce, which will probably never happen again.
Two things can be true – you can have a highly detailed wedding day and also have a stress-free, laid-back day. I’d do this one ten times over again.
